We are looking for an Outlet Manager to join our F&B team.

The job holder will be responsible for ensuring continued and profitable sales growth and excellent customer service in the assigned operations, through effective management of the team and all available resources. Conduct the above in line with Meraas F&B policies, procedures and strategic direction.


Key Accountabilities:


• Oversea the dining area, supervises food and beverage service staff in accordance with operating policies that he or she may help establish.


• Maintain records of staff periodic manner and operating costs.


• Works with food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures


• Handle guest complaints in restaurants and is capable of handling customers with a friendly/calm attitude


• Schedules periodic food and beverage service staff meetings to ensure correct interpretation of policies and obtain feedback from staff members.


• Maintain manning budget and employee records


• Check the quality of deliveries of fresh food and baked goods


• Meet with sales representatives to order supplies such as tableware, cooking utensils, and cleaning items


• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services


• Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at end of day


• Ensures new products are executed properly the following roll-out


• Is flexible in dealing with changes/problems (e.g., being short staffed).


• Has effectively forecasted restaurant needs


• Shifts priorities and goals as work demands change


• Taking ownership of issues or tasks and give detail update to operation manager.


• Develop program and annual budget for capital project program.


• Work to defined construction cost estimates and documentation for project funding authorization. Is responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approval signatures. Explanation of project scope and the associated costs as required is part of this process.


• Ensure that the costs are kept in line with the agreed staffing budget.


• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with concession managers, ensuring concession teams are well integrated and meet required standards, pre-approving all shop floor staff and ensuring that they are fully conversant with all policies and procedures which apply to them.


• Work with the buyers to ensure sales staff have a thorough knowledge and understanding of products and are able to explain the same to guests.


• Contribute to ensuring that assigned business unit meet sales targets and targeted GPs.


• Contribute to ensuring that assigned business unit operates within budgeted costs.


• Ensure that all stock is merchandised and ticketed to maximize impact in accordance with standards and legislative requirements.


• Work with buying to ensure stock holding is optimized to maximize sales and minimize write off.


• Order packaging, disposables and non-selling stock and maintain an efficient system of delivery note and invoice control.


• Perform any other tasks as requested by the line manager and business needs



Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience within a similar industry. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
